Steel Modernization Project at a Steel Mill
RMS Energy works in a variety of industries, including steel. Wherever power generation is occurring, the teams at RMS are well trained to work on systems across the country.
Sometimes, that means working in a facility that is not a power plant itself. In this recent project, RMS Energy completed work at a large stainless steel mill. RMS was hired to design and install new DC bus in preparation for a pickling line modernization project.
The RMS Energy team conducted surveys, and inspected and designed the new bus system. The project was successfully installed by RMS in three phases to minimize downtime and production loss from the line.
